Charlie Christianson
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Entrepreneurial by nature, Charlie Christianson began his experience
in the IT industry back in 1987 with his first IT business designing, manufacturing and marketing a host of hardware and software products for the original
Commodore 64 computer. As his experience grew, he migrated his company into the IT Solutions business with CMD Technology Group. Today, CMD is a full service
IT Solutions company servicing organizations of all sizes in many business and public sectors.
In 2007, he and his partners founded Peritus Security
Partners, LLC. Peritus is a company that specializes in Information Security Compliance. Specializing in Assessments, Audits and Penetration Testing for
financials, business and most recently has established itself as a front runner in compliance solutions for Massachusetts regulation 201CMR17.
His
understanding of technology and desire to provide only the highest quality solutions for his clients, Charlie has become a trusted partner in building
technology and compliance solutions.
Kurt Baumgarten, CISA, CGEIT
Vice President of Information Security
Kurt is a lecturer, consultant, and the developer of the DDIPS intrusion prevention technology as well as a pioneer in using best practices frameworks for the improvement of information technology security programs and management systems. Mr. Baumgarten has authored multiple articles about the business benefits of sound information technology and information assurance practices, is often quoted in publications such as CIO Magazine, SC Magazine, and is an author of the Computer Security Handbook, 5th edition. Kurt assists businesses and government agencies in defining strategic plans that enhance IT and IA as positive value chain modifiers, and holds both a Master of Science in Information Assurance and an MBA with a concentration in E-Commerce. He has more than 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and Information Security and is an active member of ISSA, ISACA, ISSSP, and the MIT Enterprise Forum. Mr. Baumgarten periodically acts as an Adjunct Professor of Information Assurance as well as an Interim Director within external organizations in order to facilitate strategic operational changes in IT and Information Security.
